Walk across Memphis

Starting off near the Germantown border.

Six friends set out to walk across Memphis this Sunday. I must admit to taking the lesser camera and walking, not photographing, becoming my chief concern. 17 miles later, here are some shots.

The stats:

• About 17 miles
• Start time-8:30 am
• End time-5:30 pm
• Break time-between 2-3 hours total (including a much needed swim)
• Temperature-above 90 degrees most of the walk
  
• Found objects-not as much as expected, but included Mardi Gras beads, lug nuts, pennies, and bolts.
• Inspired by these guys.
