Coming into downtown via Union.
Six friends set out to walk across Memphis this Sunday. I must admit to taking the lesser camera and walking, not photographing, becoming my chief concern. 17 miles later, here are some shots.
The stats:
- About 17 miles
- Start time-8:30 am
- End time-5:30 pm
- Break time-between 2-3 hours total (including a much needed swim)
- Temperature-above 90 degrees most of the walk
- Found objects-not as much as expected, but included Mardi Gras beads, lug nuts, pennies, and bolts.
- Inspired by these guys.
You should write a song about walking in Memphis.
